Six things that come up specifically about the enquiry process. The detailed service questions sit on the Services page.

Will I actually get a reply?
Yes. Every message goes to my personal inbox, and I reply within one working day. If for some reason you don't hear back within two working days, please assume it got lost and send a follow-up to hello@marcdumont.com directly.
What if I'm not ready to commit yet?
Plenty of conversations start with "we're thinking about a project for next quarter" or "we're not sure if we even need a developer." Both are fine. I'd rather have an early conversation that turns into work in six months than a hurried one that doesn't fit either of us. There's no expectation that an enquiry leads to a project.
What information should I include in my message?
Whatever you've got. A finished spec is great. A one-paragraph idea is great. A staging URL or a Figma link with a "what do you think?" is great. The more specific you can be, the more useful my first reply is, but don't let perfect be the enemy of sending the message.
Will you sign an NDA before we talk?
Yes, if it's needed. Send a copy with your enquiry and I'll review and sign before our first conversation. For most projects an NDA isn't required, but I understand why some clients want one in place before sharing details.
Do you do free consultations or paid discovery?
Initial conversations are free. They're usually 30 to 45 minutes, focused on whether we're a fit and what the rough shape of the work might be. For larger or more complex projects, I sometimes recommend a paid discovery phase before committing to a full estimate, but that's only when the project actually warrants it.
What happens to my information after I send the form?
It comes to my inbox and stays there. I don't run the form through any third-party CRM, marketing platform, or analytics tool. There's no mailing list. If we end up working together, your details become part of our normal working relationship. If we don't, they stay in my inbox and don't go anywhere else.
